What Type of Steelwork?
All of our structures are designed to your location and specification, this is completed on every building we supply as it is a requirement for building regulations. The prefabricated steel buildings are designed to British Standards and are tailor-made to any dimensions you require.
The cold rolled steel buildings we supply are designed as portal framed buildings in accordance with British Standards or the equivalent euro codes. The building widths of cold rolled steel is up to 20m in clear span and up to 6 metres in height. The overall length of the building is unlimited, at SSB we have installed buildings up to 500 metres in length previously.
Our hot rolled structures are designed, manufactured and installed by our fully employed specialist team. They are the traditional method for constructing a wider open span building. We can design a building for any situation and have a niche for constructing the harder, more complex buildings.

We will save you the expense of architects and structural engineers at the costing stage as our drawings can be used for planning applications. All our structures come complete with structural calculations for the frame as this will be required for building control.
